The 1998 Pac-10 Player of the Year, Rory earned first-team All-America and first-team All-Pac-10 honors in 1997 and 1998. He was an honorable mention All-America selection in 1996 and earned second-team all-conference honors that same year.

 

At the time of his induction, Rory held the second-best single-season scoring average, with a 71.02 mark in 41 rounds and 2,913 strokes during the 1997-98 season.

 

During his Wildcat career, Rory helped lead the Wildcats to four team tournament championships in 1996 and 1997. Rory also was one of only two Wildcats to win an individual championship in 1997, as he posted a 210 to take top honors at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate.

 

Rory was the youngest member of the PGA tour when he entered the professional ranks in 1999. At the time of his induction in 2004, Rory had two PGA wins. He also was a member of the Word Cup teams in 2002 and 2003.
