ALL-PAC-10 TEAM
CHILDRESS is a first time All-Conference selection. He's the first Cardinal ever to be named Pac-10 Player of the Year. His team-high 15.2 points per game average helped the Cardinal capture their 11th Pac-10 title and fourth title in the last six years. Childress has recorded six double-doubles this season and is ranked fifth in the league in rebounding, posting 7.4 rebounds per game. His 15.2 points per game average ranks ninth in the Pac-10. Childress missed the first nine games of the season, recovering from a stress reaction in his left foot.
DIOGU, the 2003 Freshman of the Year, earns his second All-Pac-10 honors. Diogu has scored in double figures in all 59 career games, the best active streak in the nation. Diogu, only a sophomore, ranks fifth among active players in the Pac-10 with 1,224 career points. His 22.8 points per game is the highest average in the Pac-10 this year, while his 8.9 rebounds per game average places him third among the league leaders. Diogu broke Mel Counts' Pac-10 record of 237 made free throws set in 1963-64, by hitting 243 from the charity stripe this season.
FARMER earns his first All-Conference honors. Farmer led the Trojans in points per game, averaging 20.0, the third best average in the Conference. Against then-ranked No. 7 Arizona on Jan. 15, Farmer poured in 40 points, the second highest point total of the year in the Conference. He is in the Top-10 all-time at USC for career points (1,602 points) and is in the Top-5 for career three point field goals made (203). In addition, Farmer became the 77th player in Pac-10 history to surpass 1,500 career points.
FRYE earns All-Pac-10 honors for the first time, after receiving honorable mention honors last season. Frye was the third leading scorer on the highest scoring team in the league. His 15.8 points per game average places him eighth in the Conference. He is also ranked seventh in the league in rebounding with 7.3 rebounds per game, and is the leading shot blocker with 2.11 blocks per game.
HERNANDEZ, a hard-nosed defender and a deadly accurate shooter, earns his first All-Pac-10 honors. Hernandez averaged 10.6 points per game for the Cardinal, and led the Conference in three-point field goal percentage (93-of-101, .921) and three-point field goal percentage (38-of-82, .463), In addition, he was fifth in the Conference in assists with 4.68 per game.
IGUODALA earns his first All-Conference honors as he nearly averaged a double-double for the Wildcats this season. His 12.7 points per game rank him in 16th in the league, while his 8.8 rebounds per game place him third. He's also among the league leaders in assists (2nd, 5.15 apg) and steals (4th, 1.63 spg). Iguodala recorded three triple-doubles this season, just one shy of matching former California Golden Bear Jason Kidd's Pac-10 career record of four. Iguodala looks to become the first Wildcat ever to lead the team in assists, steals and rebounds in a single season.
JACKSON earns All-Pac-10 honors for the second consecutive season. He is the only player ranked in the Top-10 in the Pac-10 in scoring (2nd, 21.6 ppg), rebounding (6th, 7.3 rpg), and assists (8th, 4.52 apg). Jackson is one of four Pac-10 players all-time to record 1,500 points, 600 rebounds and 300 assists. With two more assists, he can join former Arizona All-American Sean Elliott as one of two players in Pac-10 history to post 1,800 points, 700 rebounds and 400 assists. In addition, Jackson is the first player in Oregon history to score 500 points in three consecutive seasons.
LUCAS earns All-Pac-10 honors for the first time. He averaged a team-high 17.2 points per game, placing him fourth in the Pac-10. Lucas also was among the league leaders in rebounds (9th, 6.9 rpg) and free throw percentage (5th, 81.6 percent). Over the final 10 games, Lucas averaged 19.2 points per game for the Beavers.
POWE becomes the tenth freshman to earn All-Pac-10 honors since the formation of the 10-team league in 1978-79. Powe, the 2004 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, looks to become the first freshman in Pac-10 history to lead the league in rebounds. Powe pulled down a league-high 14 double-doubles this year. In fact, he nearly averaged a double-double with team-leading 15.0 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game. Powe is the fifth Golden Bear to be named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, joining Leonard Taylor (1985), Jason Kidd (1993), Tremaine Fowlkes (1995) and Shareef Abdur-Rahim (1996).
ROBINSON makes his first appearance on the All-Pac-10 team as he was the leader of a Washington squad that won 12 of its last 13 league games to finish second in the Conference. Robinson was among the league leaders in several categories as he averaged 12.4 points per game, 1.7 steals and shot 87.1 percent from the free throw line. He earned Pac-10 Player of the Week honors following a career-high 31-point effort in the Jan. 29 victory over Arizona.

ARIZA recorded three double-doubles this season, and averaged a team-high 6.4 rebounds per game, placing him 11th in the Pac-10. He also led the Bruins in steals per game with a 1.62 average which was the fifth highest average in the league.

SHAKUR played in all 27 games, starting 25. Shakur is seventh in assists in the Pac-10, averaging 4.56 per game. He is also ranks tenth in the Pac-10 in assist-to-turnover ratio with a 1.62 ratio.
STEWART played in 27 games for USC, averaging 8.3 points and 2.5 points. His 39 steals (1.5 spg) ranked second on the squad.
PAC-10 COACH OF THE YEAR
MONTGOMERY, 57, guided Stanford to its 11th Pac-10 Title, and its fourth crown in the last six years. The Cardinal finished conference play with a 17-1 record and a 26-1 overall mark. This is the seventh time in league history a team finished the season 17-1 since the creation of an 18-game conference schedule in 1978-79. Montgomery led the Cardinal to their tenth consecutive 20-win season and has the Cardinal on the brink of making their tenth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Picked to finish second behind Arizona, Montgomery led the team through several injuries to key players to win the Pac-10 title in convincing fashion. In fact, by winning the league title by five games, the Cardinal tied Arizona (1988, 1993) for winning the Pac-10 by the greatest margin. This is the fourth Pac-10 Coach of the Year honor for Mike Montgomery, and second consecutive, having earned Co-Coach of the Year honors last season with Lute Olson of Arizona.
