The 2002 college football season is right around the corner and Fox
Sports Net plans to help its viewers get ready for it by re-airing two
games that feature exciting wins for the University of Arizona.
Beginning this Saturday, FSN telecasts the pair of replays on
two Saturdays that lead up to the start of the gridiron season. The
series kicks off this Saturday, July 27, at 4 p.m. with the Arizona vs.
California game from 1997. The teams waged a double-overtime battle in
Arizona Stadium and the Wildcats won 41-38.
Wildcat football fans can then re-live one of the most memorable
wins in the UA's history on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m. when FSN replays
the last second win at Washington in 1998. It's the game that saw Arizona
quarterback Ortege Jenkins flip into the endzone in the final seconds to cap
a game-winning drive and give the Cats a 31-28 win.
The Arizona football replay schedule:
Saturday, July 27, 4 p.m. -- Arizona vs. California, 1997
Saturday, Aug. 10, 7 p.m. -- Arizona vs. Washington, 1998
