WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--UA safety Darrell Brooks and linebacker Spencer Larsen were named to the Pac-10 All-Academic Football team today.
Brooks, the Wildcats' free safety, is a graduate student with a 3.00 grade point average in public administration. He earned first-team honors. As a redshirt freshman in 2002 he was named to the league's second-team All-Academic squad. Larsen, a sophomore, carries a 3.40 GPA in regional development, and earned second-team honors.
Arizona had four players earn honorable mention -- junior linebacker Akin Akinniyi, junior placekicker Nick Folk, sophomore quarterback Richard Kovalcheck and junior center Erick Levitre.
