Ninth Inning Homer Sinks Arizona In 17-15 Loss To Cal State Fullerton

            FULLERTON, Calif. ?- Danny Dorn hit a two-out, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning as No. 2 Cal State Fullerton outlasted No. 10 Arizona 17-15 in a four-hour marathon at Goodwin Field on Sunday.

 

            The victory handed the Titans a two games to one series victory and improved them to 16-4 for the year. Arizona dropped to 16-9 with the loss.

 

            Arizona will take Monday off before resuming practice on Tuesday. The Wildcats will open Pac-10 play next Thursday against Washington at Kindall Field.
