2005 (Sophomore): Looks to continue her progress made during her rookie season... Will bring added depth to the sprints and jumps... 2004 (Freshman): Showed a lot of potential in her freshman season with the Wildcats... Posted strong marks in the long jump and triple jump... Began training for the multi-events.

 

High School

South Eugene High School, Eugene, Ore.: Earned five varsity letters in high school, including four in track & field and one in soccer... Acted as team captain for the track team during her junior and senior seasons... Named Most Valuable Athlete in her senior year... Named to the all-league team four times... Earned all-district honors three times... Named to the all-state first team during her senior year... Named Most Inspirational Female Athlete, Most Outstanding Freshman, and High Point Female Athlete during her high school career... Won the state long jump title and finished runner-up in the triple jump... Holds all-time top-ten marks in the long jump, triple jump, pole vault and 100 meters.

Alexis Monique Viggiano... Born 4-29-85, in Eugene, Ore... Daughter of Stefano and Elizabeth Viggiano... Has one brother, Matteo, and one sister, Bianca... Has traveled to Hawaii, California, Washington and Canada to compete in gymnastics competitions... Enjoys photography, traveling and music... Plans to major in nursing at Arizona.
