The opening game of the weekend Arizona baseball series vs. California was suspended in the top of the second inning with California leading 1-0 with one out. The game started an hour and 10 minutes late due to a lightning delay. Arizona and California will resume play in a doubleheader Saturday scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. (MST). The second game in the series will be played approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
