TUCSON, Ariz. - UA head football coach Mike Stoops will hold the Arizona Football Coaches Clinic beginning next Thursday.
The clinic is open to all junior high school, high school and junior college coaches, and will be held on the UA campus March 30 through April 1. Proof of certification/membership or proof of employment by the coach's school is required at check-in. Complete clinic activities and the schedule -- which coincides in part with UA's spring practice -- are as follows:
Thursday, March 30
4 p.m. - Registration in the Arizona Football Office
5:30 p.m. - Dinner in the Arizona Stadium Club
6:30 p.m. - Welcome from Arizona head coach Mike Stoops
7 p.m. - Wildcat Offense and Defense
8 p.m. - Breakout sessions
Friday, March 31
9 a.m. - Guest speakers Eric Reis and David Aymond
10 a.m. - UA Coaches
11 a.m. - Guest speaker Scooter Mollander
12 p.m. - Lunch
1:15 p.m. - Field demonstrations
2:30 p.m. - Corey Edmond, UA Director of Player Enhancement
3:45 p.m. - UA spring practice
7 p.m. - Dinner - Viscount Suites Hotel
Saturday, April 1
9:45 a.m. - UA scrimmage in Arizona Stadium
Cost for individual coaches by preregistration is $50, with a discount for groups of four or more coaches from the same school set at $45. Walk-up participation is permissible for $65. Please contact the Arizona football office at 520-621-4917 for further information.
