A timetable for return is still to be announced
TUCSON, Ariz. ?- University of Arizona men’s basketball player Mohamed Tangara suffered a frontal sinus fracture in Wednesday’s game and will be out indefinitely.
Tangara, a 6-foot-9, 241-pound forward from Bamako, Mali, was injured during the first half of Wednesday’s 71-47 win over Arizona State. He tallied season-high totals of two points and two rebounds in five minutes of action. On the season, Tangara is averaging 0.4 points and 0.6 rebounds in nine appearances.
A timetable for his return has yet to be determined.
Seventeenth-ranked Arizona (14-5 overall, 5-4 Pac-10) will next be in action on Saturday, Jan. 27, when the team hosts fourth-ranked North Carolina. Tip-off is scheduled for 11 a.m. MST and can be seen nationally on CBS-TV.
