Tucson , Ariz. ?C Arizona head coach Joan Bonvicini announced today that senior guard Erin Oˇ?Bryan is leaving the womenˇ?s basketball team for personal reasons.

ˇ?It is unfortunate to lose Erin at this point in the season,ˇ± Bonvicini said.? ˇ?She has been a big part of our team while she has been here at Arizona, and our program wishes her nothing but the best in the future.ˇ±

Oˇ?Bryan, from Phoenix, Ariz., was granted a fifth year of eligibility by the NCAA this season after transferring to Arizona from UC Santa Barbara where she earned a degree in womenˇ?s studies.? She played three years for the Gauchos, but missed all of last season because of injuries without using a medical redshirt.

She played in four of Arizonaˇ?s six games this season, averaging 2.8 points in 10.5 minutes per game, including a season-high eight points against Charlotte on Nov. 11.

Arizona will next host Northern Arizona on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in McKale Center.
