TUCSON, Ariz. ?- Senior Brad Mills has been named first-team Academic All-District 8, CoSIDA announced on Thursday. His selection to the all-district academic first team places him in contention for Academic All-America honors.
Arizona’s No. 2 starter in the rotation has a 3.23 cumulative GPA and is expected to graduate with an undergraduate degree in civil engineering in December. Mills is currently 9-4 with a 3.80 ERA for the No. 14-ranked Wildcats and is scheduled to start Sunday’s 6 p.m. contest against USC at Kindall Field.
