Zimmer Named to Pac-10 All-Academic First Team

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. ?- Wildcat Peter Zimmer was named to the 2007 Pacific-10 Conference Women's Tennis All-Academic teams, announced earlier this week by Commissioner Tom Hansen. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

Zimmer, a sophomore, is a studio art major with a 3.41 overall GPA. Two other Wildcats, Claudio Christen and Alex Labrosse, received honorable mentions.
