Tucson, Ariz. ?C Junior C.J. Ziegler became the fifth Arizona player to hear his named called in the Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft when the St. Louis Cardinals made him their 37th round pick on Friday
Ziegler, who transferred to Arizona from Pima Community College, completed his first season at Arizona with a team-best 23 doubles and finished second on the team with a .355 batting average and 63 RBI. He tied teammate Bill Rhinehart for the team lead in home runs with 13 for the year.
