TUCSON , Ariz. ?C The University of Arizona menˇ?s golf junior varsity team begins play Monday at the 2008 Anteater Invitational in Newport Beach, Calif.

The 10-team event is hosted by UC-Irvine and is scheduled for Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 25-26, at Sana Ana Country Club, a par-72, 6,542-yard layout. The 54-hole event features 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.? Tee times begin on holes one and 10 each day at 7:45 a.m. PST.

In addition to the Arizona JV, the field includes UC Riverside, UC Irvine, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Idaho, Loyola Marymount, Oral Roberts, Portland, San Francisco and Santa Clara.
