TUCSON , Ariz. ?C All five players posted scores at par or better as the TCU menˇ?s golf team raced to the lead Sunday at the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson, Ariz.

Four of TCUˇ?s five players currently sit in the tournamentˇ?s top-seven places as the Horned Frogs posted an opening round 275 (-13).? TCU leads the 15-team field by 11 strokes with New Mexico(286), UNLV (286) and Kent State 287) rounding out the top-four places.? Host Arizona is in eighth place at six-over 294.

For the second tournament in a row, Creighton Honeck leads the Wildcats.? The senior carded an even-par 72 and is in a tie for 17th place.? TCUˇ?s Robby Ormand and Jordan Woolf, along with UNLVˇ?s Eddie Olson and New Mexicoˇ?s Steve Saunders, are tied for the individual lead at four-under 68.

Junior Tyler Neal is tied for 27th place at one-over 73. Freshman Jonathan Khan is tied for 34the place with a 74 (+2).? Tarquin MacManus, who tallied a three-over 75, and is tied for 45th place.? Roberto Galletti is tied for 68th place at six-over 78.

The Arizona junior varsity is in 11th place after carding a 10-over 298.? Andrew Kelly is tied for 27th place at 73 (+1), one stroke ahead of Mark Lamb, who is tied for 34th place.? Trey Denton is tied for 45th place at 75 (+3), while Beck Miller and Nicholas Park are tied for 56th place at 76 (+4).

Three other Wildcats are competing in the event as individuals.? Peter Ireland is tied for 27th place after carding a 73 (+1), while Tom Conran is tied for 56th at four-over 76.? Josh Porter is in 81st place after tallying a 25-over 97.
