HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - The 7-seed Arizona Wildcats can move on to the Super Regionals with one win today against the host Hofstra Pride. The Pride defeated Canisius College 5-1 in the earlier game Sunday morning, eliminating the Golden Griffins. Long Island was eliminated by Canisius in the late game Saturday.
Arizona defeated Hofstra, 10-0 in five innings, in their second game yesterday.
Game 6 is scheduled to start at 9:45 Tucson time (12:45 EDT).
Game 7, if necessary, will start 30 minutes after the conclusion.
