Arizona receiver Mike Thomas was selected as the seventh pick in the fourth round of the NFL Draft Sunday in New York City.
Thomas, 5-foot-8, 195 pounds, is the Pac-10's career receptions leader with 259 and one of Arizona's top all-purpose performers in history. He earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors at two spots in 2008, receiver and punt returner.
Thomas joins teammate Eben Britton, an offensive tackle picked in the second round, as a Jacksonville selection.
He was the 107th overall pick, taken at No. 7 in the round.
Thomas had 74 receptions for 824 yards and four scores in 2008 after personal-bests of 83 grabs for 1,038 yards and 11 scores his junior year. His 23 receiving touchdowns are third on the UA chart, tied with Bobby Wade.
