Cats Start Fall Workouts Aug. 27, 2009 The 2009-10 season doesn't tip off until November 14, but the Arizona women's basketball team got its Fall workout schedule underway on Thursday with a pair of speed and agility workouts. Under the guidance of Jared Lawrence of Performance Training, Inc., the Wildcats were up in the early morning hours to spend their first full session as a team. The group returned to Richard Jefferson Gymnasium in the afternoon to go through another set of drills. The team will get together on Friday morning for one final workout with Lawrence, a performance coach whose organization has partnered with Butts since her playing days at Tennessee. The following videos give a look at some of the work the team went through and their reaction to the first day of what will hopefully be a season that extends into early April at the NCAA Women's Final Four in San Antonio.
