COLUMBUS, Ohio – Competing in the 2010 USA Diving Winter National Championships, junior Ben Grado placed 16th overall in the three-meter springboard today at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion at The Ohio State University.
Grado, a junior out of Conifer, Colo., gained entry into the three-meter event by qualifying in preliminary action earlier in the week. Today in the quarterfinals, Grado recorded a score of 369.95 to advance onto the semifinals.
In the semifinals, Grado posted an overall score of 323.05 to close participation in the three-meter event.
The junior All-American will compete in both the one-meter springboard and platform events over the following three days.
