Alejandra Llaneza is playing in the LPGA final qualifying school this week. Held at the LPGA International, Daytona Beach, Fla., Champions and Legends Courses, the event is taking place Wed., Nov. 30 through Sun., Dec. 4 with a Mon., Dec. 5 rain date.
The field criteria includes all eligible LPGA members, 15 exempt players from 2011 LPGA Futures Tour and all players who successfully completed Qualifying Stage 2.
Llaneza, who completed her eligibility with the Wildcats in 2011, finished the first round of the final qualifying school in a 16-way tie for 58th place. She carded a round of 74 (+2).
