On Monday, members of the UA baseball team took time out of their busy schedule to visit with students from Wilson School. More than 50 students from Wilson's 5th grade class took a field trip to the University of Arizona to discover the many opportunities that await them in college. Among other stops on campus, these students were able to visit Jerry Kindall Field at Frank Sancet Stadium to meet with UA baseball players. They spent time reading in small groups and had the opportunity to ask a variety of questions to these student-athletes.
This is just one of the many UA student-athletes give back to the community throughout the year. Over the course of the past year, student-athlete spent more than 3,300 hours serving the community.
