TUCSON - University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf has three of its own competing on the world stage this week. Soon-to-be seniors
Isabelle Boineau and
Margarita Ramos and recently graduated
Alejandra Llaneza are competing at the World University Games in Shenzen, China. The four-day, four-round event is being held at Mission Hills Golf Club with par of 72.
After two rounds of play, Llaneza, representing Mexico, is tied for 10th with rounds of 71 and 77 for a total of 148. Also representing Mexico, Ramos sits in 22nd-place with rounds of 74 and 77 for a total of 151. Boineau, representing France, sits at tied for 39th. She recorded rounds of 80 and 78 for a total of 158.
In the team race, Team Mexico is tied for seventh with a two-day total of 298. Team France sits in 14th place with a two-round score of 310.
