All-Americans By Team 
TUCSON - The University of Arizona Wildcat men’s track and field team had 11 student-athletes earn All-America honors while the women’s squad had five individuals earn All-America honors, as well as the 4x400-meter relay team.
Senior Stephen Sambu took second place in the men's 10K with a time of 28:09.52. Sambu earned his second-straight first-team All-America honor in the event; he took third place in 2011. Sambu also took fifth place in the 5,000-meter race. He had a time of 13:43.76, good for his first first-team All-America honor in the event.
Sophomore Lawi Lalang earned a third-place finish in the men’s 5K. Lalang clocked a time of 13:42.20. Lalang earned his second-straight first-team All-America honor in the event. In school history, the Wildcats have now earned 16 All-America honors in the 5,000 meters. Lalang was a second-team All-American in the 1,500 meters. Lalang earned an 11th-place finish with a time of 3:46.82.
Sophomore Bozidar Antunovic earned first-team All-America honors in the men's shot put for the second-straight year. He had a toss of 64-0.25 (19.51m), the second-best mark of his career. Antunovic was the runner-up at the Pac-12 Championships in the event and he also earned all-conference honors in the discus.
Junior Tyler Johnson took eighth place in the men's hammer throw with a toss of 209-7 (63.88m). Johnson added one point to the men's team total and earned All-America honors for the first time in his career. Johnson is Arizona's first All-American in the men's hammer throw since Tapio Kolunsarka in 1997.
Junior Nick Ross earned a fourth-place finish in the men's high jump competition with a clearance of 7-4.25 (2.24m). Ross added five points to the men's total score and earned his third-straight first-team All-America honor in the high jump. Junior Edgar Rivera-Morales took 11th place in the high jump with a clearance of 7-2.5 (2.20m), good for second-team All-America accolades.
In the men's triple jump, Ross and freshman Jovon Cunningham earned second-team All-America honors. Cunningham finished in 11th place with a mark of 51-9.75 (15.79m). Ross had a jump of 51-1.5 (15.58m), good for 15th place.
Junior James Eichberger clocked a time of 1:48.52 in the men's 800-meter race. That time was good for eighth place in heat three and 15th overall. Eichberger made his first appearance at the NCAA Championships as an individual this year and earned second-team All-America accolades.
Junior Brigetta Barrett won her second-straight title in the women's high jump with a clearance of 6-4 (1.93m). She added 10 points to the women's total and earned her third-straight All-America honor in the event. Barrett has now won four NCAA Championships in her career at Arizona. She cleared 6-4 or better six times during the 2012 outdoor season. Barrett's title is the seventh NCAA Outdoor Championship Arizona has earned in the women's high jump.
The quartet of sophomore Shapri Romero, senior Echos Blevins, sophomore Tamara Pridgett and junior Georganne Moline took sixth place in the women's 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:31.55. They tacked on three points to the women's total score and earned first-team All-America honors. Romero clocked a split of 52.55, Blevins split at 52.28, Pridgett had a time of 54.80 and Moline anchored at 51.72. On the year, that 4x400 quartet won the Pac-12 Championship and set the school record, taking first place in all but two races.
In the women's 10,000 meters, sophomore Elvin Kibet took seventh place with a personal-best time of 33:02.04. That time is also the second-best time in UA history. Junior Jen Bergman clocked a time of 33:41.76, good for 12th place in the event and a second-team All-America honors. Bergman finished the year as an All-Pac-12 runner in the 10,000 meters and 5,000 meters. Kibet earned first-team All-America honors in the event and tacked on two points to the women's total. Kibet clocked a time of 16:39.72 in the women's 5,000-meter race, good for 11th place and second-team All-America honors.
Senior Taylor Bush threw 202-9 (61.81m) in the women's hammer throw, good for 11th place in the competition and second-team All-America distinction. Bush will leave Arizona as the school-record holder in the event with a mark of 209-3 (63.77m). She also earned all-conference honors in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
