On Monday, September 24, it was announced by head coach Rich Rodriguez that the Arizona Wildcat football program would wear copper helmets for their upcoming home game at the Oregon State game on Saturday, September 29.  As a way for fans to be engaged in this week's "copper game," Arizona Athletics is announcing a copper-themed social media promotion, set to begin on Tuesday, September 25.

Any fan who is interested in participating in the promotion are asked to follow Arizona Athletics on twitter at https://twitter.com/AZAthletics.  As a part of the promotion, Arizona Athletics will be offering prizes to fans who visit their designated “Copper Hot Spot” locations on each location's given day through a staff member who will be on-site at each location.  Each day's prize giveaway will be initiated upon a tweet sent from https://twitter.com/AZAthletics.  Upon tweet, fans will have exactly one hour to claim prizes.  Prizes will then be given to the first 5 fans who visit the staff member with the following copper-related items:

-Duracell batteries

-Penny

-Copper wire

-Copper bracelet

-Any item with a "Rosemont Copper" logo attached.
