TUCSON, Ariz. - Four University of Arizona academic standouts were named Student-Athletes of the Month for November/December 2012.

James Eichberger (men's track and field), Inge Hendrikx (women's tennis), Layana White (women's basketball) were honored by Arizona's academics services staff.

Regularly throughout the year, UA student-athletes are recognized for success in educational pursuits, citing their effort, improvement and performance in scholastic matters, as well as evidence of character and role-model ability.
