Tony Bouie HOF
Tony Bouie roamed the Arizona defensive secondary for four years after earning the starting free safety role three games into his redshirt freshman season in 1991. He culminated his career as Arizona's ninth consensus All-America selection in 1994 and was first team selection by Walter Camp and the American Football Coaches Association. As a finalist for the Football News Defensive Player of the Year honors that senior season, he had 54 tackles, broke up five passes and intercepted another. A part of Arizona's "Desert Swarm", he helped lead the Wildcats to high national stature in total defense. In 1993, his six interceptions helped spearhead Arizona's 10-2 record and a Fiesta Bowl Championship. A two-time first team All-Pac-10 player (1993,1994), his 13 career interceptions rated him number eight on Arizona's all time list at the time of his induction. He played in the 1995 East-West Shrine game and went on to a four year National Football career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
