Four-year letterman at linebacker who was named first team All Pac-10 in 1985 and 1986. In 1986 was chosen team Most Valuable Player and Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year, and was names second team All America by the Associated Press and FOOTBALL NEWS. Played in 1987 Hula Bowl. At time of induction, was starting linebacker for NFL Philadelphia Eagles.
