Four- year letterman, named four seasons to All-Southwestern team (Arizona-New Mexico-West Texas) at the center position. Team captain, 1927. Graduated from UA Law School in 1929 and served as member of the Arizona Board of Regents, 1936-1943. District Governor of Rotary International, 1939-40. Received UA Alumni Service Award in 1955 and was first recipient of A. Louis Slonaker Bobcats Alumni Service Award in 1971. Chairman of 1972 Alumni Association Fund Drive. Served for nine years as president of the UA Foundation
