Led by the trio champions Julie Olson, Kathy Kish and Lori Donn, Arizona's synchronized swimming team captured the 1984 National Collegiate Championship. The title was Arizona's third such crown in five years, having won the national meet in 1981 and tying Ohio State for the honors in 1980. For Wildcat coach Kathy Kretschmer-Huss, the victory was her second in four years at Arizona.
