Marissa has wanted to be an Arizona Cheerleader since the age of three, while admiring the stunts and tumbling she saw at football and basketball games.
Marissa’s favorite part about being a cheerleader is learning new stunts, pyramids, and tumbling passes. Learning new skills and getting better everyday is her motivation to work harder and aim higher.
Her favorite experience as a cheerleader came in High School when she attended the Jeep Aloha Bowl in Hawaii. The best part of the trip was getting to meet all the other All-American cheerleaders, sight seeing in Waikiki, and performing the halftime show in front of thousands of fans.
