"Wilma" became a Mascot for the University of Arizona because she felt her energy and school spirit would be a great addition to the squad. She loves being a mascot because she loves to make people smile. She feels that she is a big part of the crowd’s enjoyment of the game.
Her most memorable moment on the team was her first appearance for the University of Arizona College of Law. She was so excited and she had so much fun, even though it wasn’t a long appearance. "Wilma" says she still gets an adrenaline rush before games and appearances.
"Wilma" thinks of herself as a team player but she does have natural leadership skills that help her work with others and delegate tasks. At the same time, she allows others to express their ideas and try them out, as well as gets along easily with everyone she works with.
