FRESHMAN (2001-02): Fourth fastest Wildcat swimmer for the 2001-02 season in three events, the 100y breast, 200y breast and 400y IM...At the Texas Invitational, Harper had his three fastest times of the season in the 100y breast (58.80), 200y breast (2:06.23) and 400 IM (4:03.03).
PREP: Earned four varsity letters in swimming at Saint Mary's High School in Phoenix, Ariz., under coach Cameron McCown... Team captain junior and senior years... Holds all individual records at Saint Mary's High School... Placed second in the 200y IM at the state meet with the time of 1:53.72... Also at the state meet, placed third in the 100y breast, touching the wall at 59.10... Competed at the Junior Nationals in the Spring of 2000 in Alaska and the summer of 2000 in San Antonio.
