Before Arizona: Attended El Camino College in 2012 ... Played in eight games and threw for 1,148 yards and eight touchdowns with two rushing touchdowns ... Attended USC in 2010 (redshirt) and 2011.
High School: The No. 6 quarterback in the 2010 class according to Scout.com ... In his senior season at Lakewood, he threw 35 touchdowns with five interceptions, and rushed for another three scores ... Completed 163-of-258 passes for 2,395 yards ... As a junior in 2008, he completed 176-of-314 passes for 2,462 yards with 23 TDs and, as a sophomore in 2007, he completed 101-of-166 passes for 1,517 yards with 17 TDs ... His 2009 honors included Under Armour All-American, Super Prep All-American, Prep Star All-American, Prep Star Dream Team, Super Prep All-Far West, Prep Star All-West, Orange County Register Fab 15 Second-Team, Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West First-Team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Second-Team, All-CIF Pac-5 Division first-team and All-Moore League MVP.
