ARIZONA
2008: Redshirted junior season...2007: Took first place indoors at the TCR Race Productions Invitational with his personal bestjump of 5.27m (17-3 1/4)...Followed that performance at the next meet by earning All-Conference honors indoors with a seventh place finish in the MPSF Championships...2006: Placed ninth at the West Region Championships with a thenpersonal best clearance of 5.21m (17-1). Also tied for the seventh-best clearance at the Pac-10 Championships (5.05m), but based on misses had to settle for 11th. Pima Community College 2005: Won regional pole vault title and placed third at the national meet, earning All-American honors. Set the school pole vault record at (16-0 ¾).
HIGH SCHOOL
Rincon High School, Tucson, Ariz.: Earned four varsity letters in track and field (three) and football (one). Named field event captain during in 2004, and earned team most valuable athlete honors following the 2003 and 2004 seasons. An all-city and all-region selection from 2002-2004. Won the 2004 region pole vault championship and placed second at the Arizona State Championships.
