On Thursday, strictly high school compeition occurs, beginnning at 3 p.m. MST. On Friday, the collegiate portion of the meet starts at 3 p.m. and the high school portion starts at 10 a.m. On Saturday, both college and high school will begin at 10 a.m.

Freeman Takes First, Sets Personal Best

The Wildcats claimed a victory in one event and set four personal-best marks on the day.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduated of Springfield High School, Houlihan was a team captain in 2009 as well as the team MVP ... He earned all-conference honors in 2006, 2008 and 2009 for his work on the track ... Houlihan also earned all-state honors in 2009 ... He is the school-record holder in the 300-meter hurdles.

PERSONAL:He is the son of Bill and Cindy Houlihan and was born in Springfield, Ill. ... He has two brothers, Grant and John, as well as a sister, Mariah, they are triplets ... Cindy is an alumnus of the University of Arizona ... He is pursuing a general studies degree.
