The University of Arizona men's and No. 7 women's track and field program will host the 2013 Tucson Elite Classic on Thursday and Saturday at Roy P. Drachman Stadium.

The blue squad totaled 242 points to take first place, the white team tallied 191.50 points and the red team finished with 168.50 points.
HIGH SCHOOL: Young, a graduate of Vincent Massey S.S. in Canada was named the team's MVP all four years ... In the summer of 2012, Young competed in the World Junior Championships representing Canada ... He was the only male to compete in all three throwing events ... He finished in sixth place overall in the discus ... He was named the Ontario Thrower of the Year in 2010, 2011 and 2012 ... He holds school records in the discus and the shot put with marks of 200-0 in the discus and 63-0 in the shot put ... He was also recruited by Oklahoma, Auburn, LSU, Michigan State and Texas.
PERSONAL: He is the son of Rob and Pam Young and was born in London, Ontario ... He has one brother, Brennan, and one sister, Schuyler ... He is undecided on the major he will be pursuing.
