2003 (Senior): Expected to play an important role in a strong group of vaulters. 2002 (Junior): Had the team’s third-best vault of 12 feet, 3 ˝ inches at the Sevigne Husker Invitational… Tied her season-best mark at the Mountain Pacific Indoor Conference Championships, where she placed eighth, helping the team to the conference title. 2001 (Sophomore): Had the team’s second-best indoor mark at the MPSF Championships. 2000 (Freshman): Reached the NCAA provisional qualifying standard in the pole vault as a freshman... Cleared 12-3 ˝ (3.75m) at the Arizona Elite Classic, which ties her for the No. 2 mark in school history... Jumped just short of her personal record at the Pac-10 Championships where she finished ninth with a clearance of 12-3 Ľ (3.74m)... Prior to that, Brown reached 12-2 (3.71m) at the UTEP Invitational... Jumped 11-7 ľ (3.55m) at the Willie Williams Classic.

Canyon del Oro High School, Tucson, Ariz.: Earned three letters in track and field and one in diving for the Dorados... All-state and All-5A South Region honoree from 1997-99 in the pole vault... Outstanding Performer of the Meet at the 1998 Last Chance Invitational... Second at the 1998 Great Southwest meet and fifth at the Golden West Invitational... Won the 5A South region title and finished second in the state as a senior in 1999... Set a school record of 11-6, which was also a city record at the time... Competed in gymnastics when she was younger, finishing second on the balance beam at the 1995 and 1996 Junior National Level 10 Regionals.
