2008: Member of the 4x100-meter relay team that claimed the West Region title and competed in the National Championships...Ran a personal best time of 21.34 in the 200-meter dash at the Jim Click Shootout and competed in the event at the West Regionals..Named to ESPN The Magazine's Academic First Team Academic All-American team and the College Sports Information Directors of America's All-District VIII men's track & field/cross country team ... 2007: Indoors Xiong competed in the 55, 60 and 200 meter dash, with seasons best times of 6.36, 6.96 and 22.20 respectively. Outdoors, Xiong had second place finishes at the Arizona International and Wildcat Classic. He also excelled during his leg of the 4x100 meter relay. 2006: Xiong competed indoors for the Wildcats in the 60 and 200 meters, with season' best times of 6.87 and 21.85. Outdoors, Xiong anchored the Wildcats 4x100-meter relay team and helped them to a fourth finish at the Pac-10 Championships. Had a season' best relay time of 39.89. Also competed in the 100 and 200 meters, with season' best times of 10.36 in the 100 and 21.42 in the 200.

HIGH SCHOOL HZNU, Wuhan, China.:

Member of the Chinese Junior National team that competed in Asian Junior Championships in 2004. His 4x100m team finished third in the competition. Xiong was the Chinese junior National Champion in the 200m with a time of 21.54. Also competed in the long jump during middle school and high school. Placed third at the national middle school championships in 2001 in the long jump.
