Arizona: Redshirted the 2000 Cross Country season... Ran several 1,500m races during the 2000 Track and Field season... Best time was 4:05.12 at the Arizona Elite Classic... After running with the team in the first couple of races during the 1999 Cross Country season, Juntunen is expected to move up in the racing order this year... Ran at the ASICS/UCI Invitational and the Aztec Invitational last year, placing 65th and 23rd, respectively...

Was the Knights' team captain and MVP from 1997-99... Was a three-time all-state and all-Eastern Dakota Conference performer in cross country... Won the North Dakota state title in cross country as senior and was the state runner-up as a junior... Was a member of the state championship team in 1998... Won the Class A 1,600m state title in both 1998 and '99... Also won the 3,200m title both years... Was a member of the winning 3,200m relay team at the 1999 state meet...
