Mountain Pointe High School, Phoenix, Ariz.: Earned six varsity letters in track and field, wrestling, and co-ed cheerleading... Named team captain and Most Valuable Athlete during his senior year... Earned all-city, all-region, and all-state honors during his senior season... Won the Great Southwest Championship in 2002... Arizona State Champion in 2002 and the runner-up in 2001 and 2002... Won the Scholar-Athlete award... Posted a career best of 15 feet, 7 inches in the pole vault.

Enjoys studying track and field statistics... Academic major has not been selected but would like to become a pole vault coach in the future.
