2004 (Senior/Redshirt Junior): Returns as one of the Wildcats' top vaulters for the 2004 season... 2003 (Junior): Cleared a season high vault of 17 feet, ¾ inch at the Washington Husky Last Chance meet... Placed ninth at the MPSF Championships and second at the indoor double-dual with ASU and NAU... Named honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic and earned MPSF All-Academic honors... Redshirted during the outdoor season and made substantial improvements... 2002 (Sophomore): Finished 14th at the Pac-10 Championships... Placed fourth at the Mountain Pacific Conference Championships with a vault of 17-1 ¾, his season's best height... 2001 (Freshman): Jumped a season-best of 16-10 ¾ at the Texas Relays.

Douglas High School, Carson City, Nev.: Earned four letters in track and field, two on the ski team and two junior varsity letters in soccer... Won the Nevada state title in the pole vault as a junior and senior... Nevada Northern Zone champion both years... Set the Northern Zone meet record as a senior with a clearance of 15-10... Became the fifth athlete in state history to clear 16-feet when he vaulted 16-0 at the Elks Invitational... Cleared 15-9 indoors at the Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho, good enough for the No. 6 indoor mark in the nation amongst prep vaulters... Finished eighth at the Indoor Nationals...
