Andress High School, El Paso, Texas: Earned four letters in track and field and three in football... Named team captain for two years... Earned all-city and all-district honors for three years... Finished his senior year with top times of 10.4 in the 100m, 21.6 in the 200m and 47.0 in the 400m... Played wide receiver, defensive back, and punt/kick returner in football... Earned all-city and all-district honors in football for three years... Football team was district champion in 2000 and bi-district champs from 1999-2001... Played in the Texas All-Star game in 2001.
