The Arizona women’s gymnastics team had a great weekend with their families during Family Weekend, but their hard work never stops. The team is about than three months away from their home opener on Jan. 31 against Utah. Though they are hard training athletes there is more to them than just the strength, agility, and leotard. Q: What’s your favorite event to compete?
A: My favorite event is floor. I really like the performance aspect of it. Being able to perform for the crowd and performing in McKale is probably one of my favorite parts of competing here.
Q: What do you hope to do after college?
A: My dream career is working with a professional sports team in the medical field or become a PA.
Q: If you weren’t doing gymnastics what sport would you want to play?
A: I’m pretty clumsy so I think I would do dance or play softball; I played softball when I was little and danced until I was twelve so I wouldn’t mind doing either of those again.
Q: Who’s your celebrity crush?
A: My girl crush is Beyoncé, obviously. And my guy crush is Seth Rogen because he’s so funny!
Q: If you could have superpower what would it be?
A: I’d want to read people’s minds.
Q: What’s a random fact about you?
A: I have slightly webbed toes.
