One of the most courageous athletes of the contemporary era, she overcame surgery and chronic leg pain to become Arizona’s all time leader in the floor exercise and the all around. In 1990 she was Pac-10 co- champion in the vault and was named All-Pac 10 and All-America. A three time champion in the all-around at the Purina Cat Classic, she was the Tucson Conquistadores "Most Inspirational Athlete" of 1991.
