Michele Beaulieu, Gerri Brandly and Marie White blended their individual and unique styles and skills together to execute a championship winning trio performance at the AIAW Nationals in 1979. Michele and Gerri had been duet partners for years when both competed with Santa Clara Aquamaids. Together they were Junior National Champions. Marie grew up competing for the Santa Clara Corallettes-- a rivalry synchronized swimming team. However, as one unit of three, the University of Arizona swimmers outperformed all other collegiate teams.
