Team members Julie Olson and Becky Roy captured the national synchronized swimming duet routine championship crown in 1981. The duo was always and excellent example of what the 'synchronized' in their sport meant. Both girls were named the Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) All-Americans and they were both members of the United States National Team. Both girls were also part of The University of Arizona team that won the 1981 National Synchronized Swimming Championship.
