Lety Pineda HOF
One of the most prolific players in Arizona softball history, Leticia Pineda-Boutte is the only Wildcats and Division 1 athlete to be named first-team All-American at three different positions-catcher in 1996, third base in 1997 and first base in 1998. Lety helped guide her teams to the College World Series in each of her four years with the program, winning the national championship in 1996 and 1997, while also winning the Pac-10 Conference titles in 1995, 1997 and 1998. Lety was named to the All-College World Series team as a senior. The three time All-Pacific Region selection and three time All-Pac 10 honoree connected for 52 career home runs, the 10th-highest tally in NCAA history and the No. 4 mark on the UA's all time career list. At the time of her induction, Lety's 240 career RBIs rank sixth all time in the NCAA and fifth on the Arizona all time career list. She finished her career with a .375 batting average, which ranks ninth all time in the Arizona record books, and a .687 slugging percentage that ranks among the top 20 in the NCAA.
