Along with Kelly Chaplin, she was UA's first All-American gymnast, placing 2nd in floor exercise and 8th in the all-around at the 1985 NCAA Championships, helping to lead Arizona to national prominence. She repeated as All American in 1986 with 3rd in the floor exercise and 4th in the vault at the NCAA Championships. She was All-Pac-10 in the all-around and team captain in 1987. She set UofA records in the vault, floor exercise and all around during her career.
