     Pat came to the University of Arizona from Amarillo, Texas where she grew up playing golf and tennis. She was the Women's singles tennis champion at the Amarillo open, both the Girl's and Women's Tri-State Open Singles and Doubles Champion and the Amarillo City Golf Champion all before entering the UofA. While attending the University of Arizona, Pat was both Southwestern Women's Tennis Doubles champion and an Intercollegiate Double's Champion. Her love of golf and tennis didn't stop when she graduated college. In the 1989 Arizona Senior Olympics, Pat won the gold medal in golf and a silver medal for tennis. In the National Senior Women's Golf Champion. In 1999, Pat won gold in doubles tennis and silver in golf at the National Senior Olympics and in 2000, she won the National U.S.T.A. Intersectional Women Tennis Doubles and was second in the National U.S.T.A. Clay Court Championship.
