TUCSON, Ariz. – With conference play under way across the country, 48 of the nation’s top college basketball coaches have pledged to compete against one another off the court in an effort to raise money for charity. The competition will run from Jan. 5 through March 15.
Coaches will count on their network of fans to advance in this bracket-style challenge. Arizona fans have the opportunity to vote for Sean Miller on a daily basis at VoteCoachMiller.com, and can join the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #VoteCoachMiller.
Voting begins Monday at 1 p.m. MST.
Voting is cumulative in each round, with 24 coaches moving on to the second round (earning $7,500 each for their charities), 16 to the third round ($10,000 each) and four to the finals ($15,000 each). Every coach who participates will earn $1,000 for his charity of choice.
The coach with the most votes at the end of the final round will be awarded $100,000 for his selected charity.
